Dr. Jo Viney, PhD will deliver the Keynote Plenary Lecture at the 21st International Conference of the Inflammation Research Association (IRA2023).

Dr Viney is Co-Founder, President and CEO of Seismic Therapeutic, the machine learning immunology company. Prior to founding Seismic, she founded Pandion Therapeutics in 2017 and served as President and CSO until the acquisition by Merck for $1.85B in 2021. Prior to founding Pandion, she worked at Biogen, Amgen, and Immunex.

Dr. Viney’s highly successful and widely admired career spans several world class organizations focused on inflammation drug discovery including Pandion, Immunex, Amgen, and Biogen. Her impactful tenure, coupled with her board appointments at Graphite Bio, Harpoon, Lab Central, and Finch are testament to the stellar caliber of her leadership and expertise. Her advocacy for women in leadership and STEM makes her one of the most inspirational and impactful leaders in the inflammation space today. We are honored and excited that Dr. Viney will deliver her keynote address at the opening of our IRA2023 event.
