Dr. Ali Zarrin is Chief Scientific Officer at TRexBio, where he leads the company’s scientific strategy and oversees all aspects of drug discovery, from target identification and validation through preclinical development and early clinical translation. He has nearly two decades of experience in translational immunology and therapeutic discovery. Prior to joining TRexBio, Dr. Zarrin spent more than a decade in Immunology Discovery at Genentech, where he held leadership roles advancing multiple therapeutic programs in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. His work included leading disease-area research strategies focused on immune regulation and immune-mediated disorders.
