Dr. Ludy Shih is the Clinical Director of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Member of the Faculty (Associate Professor) in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. As a movement disorder specialist and clinical investigator, her research focuses on novel neurotherapeutics and clinical assessments for Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor.
In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Shih has significant industry experience, having led global clinical study designs for neurodegenerative diseases at both Biogen and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. She is the current President of the American Society for Experimental Neurotherapeutics (ASENT) and an Associate Editor for Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology. She holds a medical degree from UCLA and a Master of Medical Sciences in Clinical Investigation from Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology.
