Heather Jones, RN
Heather Jones is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry with over 24 years of experience. She currently serves as the Global Immunology Pipeline, Dermatology Lead at AbbVie, where she focuses on clinical research, safety, and medical affairs. Since joining AbbVie in 2021, she has played a critical role in the US Medical Affairs Rheumatology team, supporting major launches for treatments such as Skyrizi and Rinvoq.
Before her tenure at AbbVie, Heather held significant leadership positions at other major pharmaceutical firms, including serving as the Global Medical Affairs Lead for Immunology and Autoimmunity at Incyte and as a Global Medical Director at Pfizer. Her early career included clinical practice as a registered nurse in Hematology/Oncology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College and a Diploma in Nursing (RN) from the Dixon School of Nursing at Abington Memorial Hospital.
