Liwu Li, PhD, Professor of Virginia Tech Dr. Li is an endowed COS Faculty Fellow Professor of Inflammation Biology, Director of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at Virginia Tech University. His lab pioneered the concept of innate immune memory dynamics ranging from low-grade inflammation to exhaustion, with critical relevance in the pathogenesis of both acute sepsis and chronic atherosclerosis. Dr. Li trained over a dozen PhD scientists with successful careers in both academics and industries performing inflammation related research and development.
