Andrew Getahun, PhD

Andrew Getahun is an assistant professor in the department of Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He received his PhD in Immunology from Uppsala University. After post-doctoral training in John Cambier’s lab he joined the faculty at the University of Colorado. His research program is focused on understanding the mechanisms by which B cell responses are regulated. Currently his research is focused on understanding the inhibitory signaling mechanisms that control B cell activation and B cell tolerance.
